A natural storyteller, Zalman fell in love with big-picture branding as a set designer for the Jewish Children’s Expo (precursor to today’s Jewish Children’s Museum). That wonderland of Jewish sights, senses and experiences—spanning 45,000 sq. ft. in Manhattan’s Javits Center—proved the power of many small impressions to achieve memorable impact.
In 1996, Zalman co-founded Spotlight with Gershon Eichorn and was the company’s first graphic designer. Today, he leads our continued quest for big-picture results, fine-tuning our services, improving our processes and exploring new territory to achieve refreshing results for our clients. He is frequently tapped for his business management and branding expertise, recently as a guest on the CHYE K-Factor podcast and as a judge on the Elevator Pitch business competition.
Out of the Spotlight, Zalman is a grateful husband, a doting dad and a passionate community leader. He is advisor to the Jewish Leadership Council and vice-president of Bais Shmuel—Chabad.
